Project definition by our customer

The topic of product liability is increasing in significance on a global basis. For this reason, all operating manuals and spare parts catalogues must be evaluated, checked and translated. A special requirement was that in the field of filtration technologies, several different documentation guidelines had to be applied at the same time.
Furthermore, an content management system should be introduced for the long term and sustainable optimisation of the documentation.

Solutions for our customer

In the first project phase, arvato services took charge of reviewing and creating new documents, as well as revising existing operating manuals and parts catalogues. This has already been implemented in a content management system with regard to future use of the document. The documentation has been structured modularly for this purpose. This also included creating new templates and drawings, as well as importing and converting 3D data from the client. Here the focus was particularly on compliance with all current national and international standards and guidelines. During the further course of the project, arvato services took over the translation of the twenty source documents into four languages with the use of translation memory systems and terminology lists.

The partnership that has been set up for a long-term cooperation includes not only continued extensive consulting services covering the complete documentation environment, but also the training and supply of temporary employees.
